The opening receptions are hosted on SmARTs Fridays, the second Friday of the first month of the show.

January and February
Painting Ladies
What better locale for this exhibit than the picturesque Town of Smithfield,
whose Historic District features colorful Victorian homes referred to as “The Painted Ladies”.  
This exhibit features Painting Ladies, women of the Tidewater area who paint,
some professionally and some for pleasure.  
These women support one another by forming professional associations
and informal painting groups.
Featured artists include
Nancy Midgette, Jean Ward Jordan, Joan Dinger, Cara Brinkley, Wilma Stallings.

March and April
Domestication ... The works of Amanda Outcalt
Young, emerging artist with traditional styled paintings of women in everyday settings -
with a whimsical element added.

May and June
Pottery by Bill Pinkham
From the earth with beauty to dazzle the eye.
